Overview
Meituan LongCat-2.5, generally available on the LongCat API Platform since 2026-11-02 and the only model on its pay-as-you-go plan. It succeeds LongCat-2.0 and adds native multimodality: visual understanding combined with agentic coding for visual coding, design and 3D tasks, long-horizon multi-step agents, and a Responses API alongside the OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible endpoints. 1M-token context window with up to 256K output tokens. A LongCat-2.5-Preview opened on 2026-09-25. Unlike LongCat-2.0, no LongCat-2.5 weights are on Meituan's Hugging Face page.
