How this price is scoped: The last per-token price Cohere printed for Embed 4: $0.12 / 1M text tokens and $0.47 / 1M image tokens, read on the "Advanced retrieval models" tab of cohere.com/pricing on 2026-08-22. That page now prices only Embed 5 Pro ($0.12) and Embed 5 Fast ($0.08) and no longer mentions Embed 4 (read 2026-10-18 and 2026-10-19). Cohere's embed model docs still list embed-v4.0 as an available model, and its deprecations page names no shutdown for it.
